"Court of the Sultana Is Live On Kickstarter" Topic

Court of the Sultana is the latest Kickstarter By Effin Cool Minis, its to fund an ADULT THEMED range of 32mm white metal miniatures and accessories.

They are off to a great start as of writing this, within 24hrs of launching they are $500 USD short of the $3,000 USD funding goal.

Last time I saw a pose like that, she had dollar bills stuffed in her G-string.

At 32mm to the eye, that is about on par with Bronze Age Miniatures, wouldn't you say?

Stretch goals have now been added, they are also open for suggestions for future ones.

"The first figure listed when unlocked will be included in "THE WHOLE COURT" pledge level. This miniature will also be assigned an ADD-ON value so that anyone else who is eligible to ADD-ON miniatures to their pledge may adjust their pledge to cover getting the new figure.

The second figure/s listed will also unlock and get added to the list of figures in the ADD-ONS section. These figures will not be automatically included in any of the current pledge levels, but may be added to any pledge that is eligible for ADD-ONS.

The following list represents the order, as well as funding level needed to unlock each figure:

$6,000 USD – Female Water Bearer: with a +7 add-on price (unlocking the Female Lounging Hetaira as a +7 add-on option)

$7,000 USD – Female Palace Guard: with a +7 add-on price (unlocking 2 other Female Guards in different poses each available as +7 add-on options)

I like the idea, and while I don't have a particular use for this scene, it's the sort of thing I would normally be interested in. The level of detail seems really nice.

But – the horrible face of the Sultana aside, looking at some of the other pictures in the project there seems something rather seedy about this one even by the standards of the nudie miniatures board. Some of the poses, on the ribbon dancer figure in particular – it's hard to escape the sensation that someone was getting off on sculpting these and that makes me feel like I need a shower.

The first two stretch goals have been unlocked and they are getting close to unlocking the third.

The Female Water Bearer and a Female Palace Guard have been added to the "Whole Court" pledge for free and have been added to the selections of add-ons available for everyone else to purchase, the Female Lounging Hetaira and 2 other Female Guards in different poses have also been added to the list of add-ons.

The WIP picture of the drummer was quickly put together to give a rough idea of what it will look like etc, it needs work all over as its a very early WIP.
