Below are photos of Murray's Jats 14th Bengal Lancers & Skinner's Horse 1st Bengal Lancers. Murray's Jats are in the full dress blue uniforms with converted turbans (more floppy look) in an attempt to represent a Hindu manned squadron/regiment. These are intended for use in 2nd Afghan War games. The figures are all Perry Miniatures.

Great looking figures.

Thanks for the comments. Not sure if the color of the kullah is correct on Skinner's horse. I have seen some in red and some in yellow/golden color.I have a feeling that maybe only the officers had the yellow/gold color and the rank and file were red. I have a generic unit of Bengal lancers (red over blue lance pennons) and with these two added I now have three units. Going to add one more unit, the 17th Bengal lancers (blue over white pennons) and that will be it for Bengal lancers. Or at least it should be if I were a sane person.

I echo my good friend, Sgt. Guiness's sentiments: Bob, they look GREAT!!!

Can we please get a close-up of at least one sowar from both regiments? Or even just one close-up of one of the 14th Murray's Jats?!?!

Hahah -- so now you have 36 Bengal Lancers from 3 different regts, and already planning regt. no. 4. That's crazy… in a crazy awesome way. How many DISMOUNTED Indian cavalry do you have? I know I need a lot more!

Mad Guru – I have no dismounted Indian cavalry although I know Old Glory has some available.I know I need them but can't quite get to that point of ordering them. Here's a couple of close-ups of the Murray's Jats in full dress uniform.Touches of gold on the Sowar's turban.
