Information – uniforms, numbers, actions? Regardless of their importance, or lack thereof, I will be painting this unit up – just 'cuz. Information welcome. Thanks. |

They were at …. Savannah? Green coats, brass helmet. Nice flag. I asked about them here on tmp years ago but can't find the link. I think I asked "Who makes 1770-ish French Dragoons in 28mm?" But got no answer. It's out there on Google. Red facings? Maybe? |

Nice. So. Front Rank SYW Schomberg Light Dragoons, eh? Thanks for the tip. When I renew my Savannah project, I'll keep that in mind. |

Yes, I did the google search but was hoping for a bit more info if someone had it. Fridericus may have what I'm seeking. Like him, I found alternative figures – in 15 mm – to use, don't recall the numbers but FreiKorps (now QRF I think). Best part was the cast metal flag matches to the flag shape known for the unit, one of the few well documented flags not of European infantry. Like Fridericus, I've 'upped' the count and I'll have 12 mounted figures with 'matching' dismounts (best I could find). Horse holders for all units will be very generic since I'm mostly using the Peter Pig scout figures. And I must applaud Peter Pig for releasing both mounted and foot figures for most, if not all, of their mounted troops for the AWI. Excellent. |

I thought that there were only about 50 of these guys who served as on escort and scout duties around Savannah in 1779. |
