Russian with English sub titles.

I found this one to be a really solid war film.
A bit over-dramatic at times, but it's hard to tell a story of Brest without doing that, I suppose.

If you're going to watch it, probably do it soon, since channels hosting this stuff tends to evaporate quickly.

I've never seen this in a store, but I'm sure you can import it.

Problem with it, to me, is that it is such a Russian propaganda flick. after all, Brest Litovsk was a Polish fortress until 1939, when the Sovs stabbed Poland in the back, yet it is portrayed as the heroic Russian defence of a Russian fortress.

Yeah, its pretty heavy on the jingoism, though it doesn't whitewash Stalin at all, so win some lose some.
