Very nice video. I would rather spend a little effort and $0.01 USD per base than laser cut MDF bases that are 25x -50x the cost. I agree that the figures look better on a base that is thinner. It gets rid of that statue-on-a-column look. |

I already use washers for mine. They're cheap and they work great on the magnetic sheets I use for storage. But I am definitely using this idea for terrain basing (buildings and such). The video was very informative and well done too. Dan |

Hmm. Just thought of something … I wonder if those textured vinyl tiles could be cut into small facings, to give the appearance of stone blocks or even flagstones.
