DONE! My 6mm World War Two army is now done. Not that I won't ever add to it, but all my unpainted, half painted, unbased, disorganized collections is set to rights. Organized for Flames of War, these are the last few pieces that needed basing and a tad of touch up paint. I'll probably do a glamor shot of the whole army later this week. Now for the Soviets! I am interested in your infantry bases and the number of figures per base. What size bases do you use for infantry? They look to be 25mm wide x 20mm deep and quite thin. How many figures to a base? some appear to be 2 per base, others 4 per base. What are the blue beads for? – are they to identify platoons? Thanks Mick |

@Old Smokie: Mostly GHQ. A good amount of the collection was bought second hand, so for the non-GHQ, I am not sure. @Mick: The beads identify units. So one red bead: red platoon, 1st squad. Two red beads: red platoon, second squad. White = command stand. The bases are steel. Infantry bases are 25 x 16 for teams of 4 or 5 or 15x15 for teams of 2 or 3. They are all organized for Flames of War in "half-scale." Rilfe tems are usually 4 or 5 figures, command, weapons, FOOs etc are 2-3 figures. |
