I'm looking for the ugliest, clunkiest, grungiest, space ships available. I know about Valiant Enterpriseses Limited that fit the ticket, but more is welcome.

I need some stuff to supplement my Battlestars.

For hard scifi, I'd look at Charles Oines' Irrational Designs on Shapeways. Lots of 'stack with drive on end' style ships. Others are more BSG, but less 'hard'.

While I love them, I think the Ground Zero Games ships have some clunk.

Grunge, you have to paint yourself. ;->=

Mr. Oines did some of the designs on Studio Bergstrom; they tend to be the most sweeping lovely in my eyes, but there are others there that might function for you.

I am partial to the Belter ships – Irrational Designs/Shapeways.

Those Belter ships are tickling my fancy quite a bit.

Ah, I think I may have your drift better in sight.

Have you looked at old Star Frontier ships for humans?

Oft times on eBay, sometimes not TOO dear.

I think there was an earlier post some where here that a company on shapeway's was offering the "Rag Tag Fleet" from BSG.

Brigade Models seems to do a lot of really chunky/clunky models.

Green Beanie, that probably would have been Ravenstar. I believe he sold his BSG type minis to Starfighter Shipyard.
