German East Africa, World War I! Yes, a niche range but virtually everything appropriate might also be useful in Pulp and many items can pinch in for early – or even later – African exploration, colonial stuff. And that Boxer range you promoted some years back but haven't shown yet! But, did I say it, German East Africa in that first large war in the early 20th century? |
Sysiphus | 11 Feb 2017 8:31 p.m. PST |
Late 18th century through 1870'ish; Turks, Persians and Mamelukes. Also, some Russian opposition for them in Central Asia; these would be nice for Great Game conflicts. You have the sculpting for several of these covered in your larger scale, the Russians would be a nice " first" in 18 mm. |
Mister Tibbles | 11 Feb 2017 8:33 p.m. PST |
I'd like to see you flesh out the Imperial Romans and Dacians/Sarmations so we actually could use them in a game. They are so woefully incomplete they are not worth getting. Ironically the opposite is true for the 10mm line! I'll have better ideas tomorrow. |

Finish 7YW. Then why not Hundred Year War through French War of Religion, covering both Western and Eastern Europe. Say 1300 to 1600. Figures could be used to cover numerous conflicts from Ireland to the Middle East. Plus they are perfect for fantasy human armies also. What fantasy rules don't have knights in shiny armor or pikes or longbows. |

How about British fusiliers for the Napoleonic period? :-) Will the items listed as "Coming Soon" in the Napoleonic era be completed? Or is it not worthy of the cost? |

I'd like to see the last few packs of Swedes and Danes released for the Napoleonic range. I'd also like to see Swedes in the 1810 uniform that was worn in the 1813 campaign. One pack infantry, one pack command. That's all it would take. |
Redcurrant | 12 Feb 2017 3:44 a.m. PST |
Why not finish off some of your existing ranges, before starting something new? Another vote for finishing off the Napoleonic Swedes and Danes. How about doing the Duchy of Baden? |

Finish ranges already started, like Wayne's Legion (artillery, etc.), World War One, Naps (as suggested above), etc. Then perhaps Boxer Rebellion, but with a full range of buildings as no one makes 15mm Chinese buildings. that I know of. |
Kevin C | 12 Feb 2017 7:20 a.m. PST |
Tai Ping Rebellion and Crimean War are both periods in need of good 18mm miniatures. |
79thPA | 12 Feb 2017 7:25 a.m. PST |
Finish the ranges you have started. Spanish Napoleonics. |
Jcfrog | 12 Feb 2017 7:48 a.m. PST |
Finish started ranges. 18th century, 7yw Ferdinand army to fight the French. wAs none of the specific stuff exists in 18m. Light troops, Italian, Spanish… Nappys. Baden, Portuguese legion. Dismounted cav for skirmish games. Civilians Guerillas Persians to fight Turks and Russians. |

The figures from the Marlburian and GNW ranges could be complemented by the addition of Turkish figures to cover the late 17th – early 18th Century wars with the Ottomans. A range of both figures and ships (as in the Pirate range)to cover galley warfare in the Med in the late 16th Century. Finally, please add both grenade throwers and rifle-grenadier figures to the WWI range. The use of "bomber" troops of both types comprised a vital part of every unit on the Western Front and yet are almost never represented in any manufacturer's Great war ranges. |

Jefthing | 12 Feb 2017 12:22 p.m. PST |
I'd rather you revisit the ACW range and redesign the artillery figures; they are dreadful and spoil an otherwise superb range. Might be worth dropping some of the silly cavalry figures too i.e. men waving swords and pistols in both hands or shooting behind them. Otherwise, you do everything I want so I am a very happy bunny! |

Your Darkest Africa line is fantastic (18mm) I would love to see an expansion of the other forces to oppose the tribes you have already made. My list is long but I think these are all areas which need a good 18mm line: Colonial Period Figure Wanted:. Portuguese in Africa: Portuguese, Askari, Belgian Congo (free state): Belgian, Askari, Arabs Germans in: Africa: Schutzzen, Askari, Ally?, Heraros, Hottentot, Pacific Samoa: German navy, marines, constabulary, Samoans France in: Sub-Sahara Africa: FFL, Senegalese Tirailleurs, laptots (African french sailors) Dahomey: FFL, Amazons French-Indo China: FFL, Tonkinese Tirailleurs, Animite Tirailleurs, Viet natives, Chinese, Flagmen Spain in: Philippines: Spain, Filippinos, Moros, USA Morocco: Spain, SFL, Arabs Netherlands in Indonesia: Dutch and Natives (Malay and others) |

Please add to the Old West range so we can really get into the Old West with plenty of Cavalry, and Cowboys, and Ranchers, and Townsfolk, and Plains Indians, and Comanches, and Apaches, and Banditos, and those dreaded Mexican Regulars! If not, then I like the WWI in East Africa idea presented earlier. Thanks. |
Blount | 12 Feb 2017 7:27 p.m. PST |
I'd like to see ranges already begun but lingering in incompleteness finished before new ones are begun. I'm particularly interested in seeing the World War I miniatures that have been listed as forthcoming for years actually released. I won't invest in any more ranges believing that such promises will be kept. |
Hafen von Schlockenberg | 13 Feb 2017 12:19 a.m. PST |
A question for those wanting Franco-Prussian and Austro-Prussian: have you found the lines from Old Glory 15s unsatisfactory? I'm curious because I was thinking of getting some. |
Early morning writer | 13 Feb 2017 12:46 a.m. PST |
For those wanting completed ranges – there is never an end. And the request here is, in all caps, for ideas for NEW ranges. New ranges almost certainly, if popular, will greatly outsell existing ranges – even the most common and popular ranges. Unless traditional retail marketing has turned on its head. Yeah, there are things I'd like to see added to – but that wouldn't be focusing on new ranges, now would it? And if your coveted incomplete range has already shown itself to be a poor seller, well, good luck. He is in business to make money, not throw it away. Fun to watch this thread and see where it leads, ultimately. |

Don't do what is already done and redone elsewhere. If you did Persians and Turks for 1790-1820s, I 'd do scenarios and articles to support the sales. Expend a few codes for 30yw…if not 1690s. |
Blount | 13 Feb 2017 1:40 p.m. PST |
EMW, I can read; I know the question was about *new* ranges (and please don't shout). I'm not asking for additions to old ranges out of the ether. Rather, I'm concerned about miniatures that were planned from the beginning of those ranges but which have never materialized. I (and I doubt I'm alone in this) invested in certain ranges because I believed the promises about what would be forthcoming. Not to release the miniatures in a range which were promised in its beginning is simply bad faith. Perhaps I was naive to think what was indicated in the catalog from the earliest days of a range would be honored; if so, mea culpa. |

Blount | 13 Feb 2017 1:43 p.m. PST |
BTW, I'd love to see a Mexican Revolution range. But given my experience with the WWI range, I wouldn't invest in an MR range until I was satisfied that it was as complete as needed. I certainly won't invest in a range with expectations that it will be filled out according to promises--no matter what I'm told the plans for it are. |
Mister Tibbles | 13 Feb 2017 3:54 p.m. PST |

Since the demise of the venexia Italian wars range 15mm is seriously suffering a great Italian wars range so I'd vote for Italian wars. Massive blue moon customer so keep up the great work. |
