Hundvig Fezian is not a real big fan of pre-painted minis, and he positively despises randomly-packed "collectable" ones - so why is he writing this article?

I just received a bunch of H&R British and Soviet figures and models for 1980s Cold War gone hot. As a service to fellow gamers I took pictures of them as they were received, no paint, and no other work done (gluing, flesh removal etc.) other than just placing the turret on the hull or straightening out a bent barrel.

I will be adding more pics to this album in the future. When I received this order I realize I forgot to include the Schimitars and Scorpions in the order for the recce squadron! So I will need to place another H&R order shortly, as I also wanted some Leo 1, M-113 and Lynx for the Canadians anyway.

Thanks for sharing.

They do produce some really nice stuff, and I especially like their infantry, which is more to scale than some other offerings.

Thanks Edmund! That's very helpful! Did you get the Soviet VDV Paras? BTW, I just gave you a Good Trader score. Thanks for being such an awesome guy to deal with! Can't wait to see more pics. Jason

Thanks for posting the photos, especially of the Soviet Motor Rifles, I have some Soviet heavy weapons from H & R with some different weapons. By posting your photos I can see what the other figures look like. I have the original Soviet Infantry, but I like the look of the new infantry that you have posted. There goes some more money !!!

The one true scale for WW2 and post-war. Brings back happy memories of games in the 70s and 80s.
