Ridgeback Miniatures has launched a Kiki campaign to develop a full range of orcs in 28 mm with all emblematic troops like wolves or swordsmen.

Well the figures looked good, sort of that Tolkein LOTR look that I like, but they seem to have the problem of no one knowing what a shield is. People use shields for a reason, hmmm maybe because no orc uses a shield, no orc ever survives to tell the other orcs that using shields is good.

Its a line of "feral" orks, so I assume these are more of the "strife through the wilderness" kind, not the "march to battle" breed.
So "no shield" kind of makes sense.
Or, at least, can be explaned away…

BTW: I was in his first KS – clean sculpts and cast, well worth the money.

The wolves come in packs of 3, and the riders in packs of 2, I wish they had planned that a little better. I like the sculpting style but they may be a little expensive for me.
