Cool. They look great, shields a good idea. But just wait until you buy an new tv, or computer or such. It will blow your socks off when you open the box. It'll be like mine craft on steroids in miniature!!! |

The terrain looks great, and nice use of found items! I zoomed in on the price tag for that cake dummy, is that $9.47 USD? I suggest you look seriously at getting some rigid insulation foam from a hardware store -- the pink or blue foam. Just doing a quick google at Home Depot, they have a 1/8th sheet (2x2') of 1" insulation foam for $6 USD; this is the pink stuff, FOAMULAR. These are called "Project Panels" and cost more per square foot than the full size 4x8' sheets, but are easy to carry out of the store. This foam is true extruded polystyrene so it has much finer texture than the white beaded stuff you are using, but still cuts fine with your hot wire cutter and can be assembled into thicker stacks with hot glue.
