Hello all.

This is to correct an earlier post I made about these really cheap trees I found that are great for wargaming.

Through a complete episode of disorganization and brain lapse on my part, I thought I had purchased these from Dollar Tree and led other forum members to seek out the trees there. I am sincerely sorry for the confusion and for leading people to the wrong place.

I got these from Ocean State Job Lot, NOT Dollar Tree.

Ocean State is a US chain that has stores in CT, NJ, NY, and perhaps several other states I'm not sure, but I do know that it's a Northeast US chain.

Here is the link to trees for the $5.00 USD price that I got them for. Unfortunately Ocean State does not currently have an online shopping site, they only use the website for advertising its goods. So you would have to get these directly from an actual store, so of course you would have to live reasonably close.

On the main page there is a link for "Crazy Deals". If you scroll down a bit on the Crazy Deals page you will see the fake Bonsai tree offered for the $5.00 USD price.

In the other thread I offered the option to pick more of these up at the store near me and ship them out to any forum members who might still want them, if you do not have Ocean State stores where you live.

Even so, they do look a lot like bonsai trees I got from some dollar store in California years ago.

Better news for me- I have one nearby and will check it out.

Looks like this one on Amazon (albeit cheaper):
