Did the Fusilier battalions carry a standard? I noticed many standard makers make a standard for the 1st and 2nd Musketeer battalions only. |

No standards for the fusilier battalions as they are "light troops". None of my Calpe fusiliers have them. |

What are the differences in uniform between musketeers and fusiliers, then? I thought it was just colour of belts? Was there something else? |

This link from the Calpe website will explain for you. link Basically fusiliers carried a straight side arm, and had a round plate on their cartridge box. Link to pics of mine, fusiliers on the left of line troops. TMP link |

One thing I did from beginning is almost all of my fusiliers are Minifig 2 which have no shako covers, when I recently replaced my whole 8th regiment was find a battalion on ebay, wouldn't have done it if I couldn't get them. |

Thanks. I recalled the differences being fairly minimal. |
