Sorry for the late replies – have just checked in on this thread, and am less than thrilled to discover that some of my emails are apparently still not getting through, on top of everything else going on at the moment (too many blooming hospital visits, and in all honesty still rather failing to deal with a death in the family late last year, which really shouldn't be having as much of an effect after this time as it is….) Rattling off the recent commenters:

Pedrobear – is in the post. I'll try emailing you again too.

gbowen – was refunded a while back now as requested.

Hazza31B – Yours was posted as per my earlier message, and subsequently refunded as per your request. Obviously I'd appreciate the return or at least destruction of the decals if and when they arrive.

Khusrau – Yours was posted as per previous communication. Delivery times to Australia are normally pretty consistent, so frankly having both yours and Hazza's orders still en route is worrying – US delivery times can be more random thanks to security measures on air mail, but post to Australia is generally pretty timely, so I'd expect them to be with you by now. If you can drop me an email to double check the delivery address I'll happily resend.

Romano – Plain hands up at my end on your order, sorry – have double checked and it looks like I fouled up…. :-( It's marked sent in my order book, but has no postage amount on my accounts spreadsheet, which it should have had added when it was posted, so I have a nasty suspicion it somehow didn't get sent. Replacement will be in the post tomorrow – many apologies for the screw up.

Ewan – I emailed the instructions files to you the other day. Will try again now, splitting them into separate emails in case the total file size was an issue.

Well that would rather explain the problem…. :-( [And no wonder you're annoyed that it's overdue – "late next week or some time the week after" is definitely not the timeframe for post from Sheffield to Scotland….]

Have just done a search through my site's back office and got a Broughty Ferry address, I take it that's the correct one? I'll drop you an email now as well, but if you could confirm that'd be great and I'll get another envelope posted tomorrow.

Dom, perplexed and sort of relieved in equal measure – I'm off to scratch my head and try to figure out how the heck I got an Australian address, but at least something makes sense now….

Dom seems pretty stand up, if he made 1/72 ones I'd for sure order them from him.

It's been nearly ten weeks since I placed my orders (5111 & 5125) with no sign of them arriving. Your correspondence above dated March 29th states that my orders '…are nearing the top of the pile…' and you will email 'updates in the morning'.

That was a week ago.

If I do not receive my goods by the end of next week (Friday, April 7th, 2017) I will be disputing the transaction with PayPal to recover my money in full. I have sent a copy of this post to your email address including my mobile phone number.

If it's any help Guthroth, my order 5308 placed on 03/04/2017 turned up Friday 19/5/2017. I had to raise a dispute for non-delivery with Paypal. It was only 4 quid, but I actually needed the decals for a commission. I won't be ordering again.

I don't really want to down that route if it can be avoided.

So it seems like this is an ongoing problem. Ordered June 28 2017. 4 email over the last several months along with a PM here on TMP. I did get a response from Dom on July 30 via the PM.

Sent another PM and email via the website last week. No response. I have to Dec to dispute the sale but I would rather have the decals.

This is disappointing to hear. I have used in the past and was aware that Dom can be slow and doesn't communicate well.

But my decals have always turned up within 3 weeks.

Recently ordered some 1:300 decals for the PSC Battle of Britain war game and as soon as I did I realised that I missed off a set I needed.

My first thought was to log in, cancel the order and resubmit it correctly but soon found that the website doesn't support that.

Next was to drop him an email. After a day of no response I tried telephoning numerous times. Let a few days pass, another eMail with a more urgent subject line and then more telephoning, but to no avail.

Then I start googling, wondering whether he has gone out of business or something and find this thread.

Now I'm thinking that I have plenty of time to change the order, assuming that I can ever get in contact, but the downside is that I might be waiting 5 months or more to receive the decals.

Not sure what to do – thinking I might have to just raise a PayPal dispute which seems silly because I know he is a nice honest guy but it may be the only way to make contact.

All I want is to find out roughly how long the order is likely to take and if reasonable (and I'm not in a real hurry) correct my order. Or if there really is a massive backlog, cancel so that I can seek alternatives.

I can only imagine that he has his telephone unplugged or the ringer disabled – otherwise it would drive him mad sitting there listening to it ring continually unanswered.

After multiple attempts to contact and weeks of waiting, I raised a PP dispute. He refunded my order about an hour after I raised it. Very frustrating and disappointing that I could not get any response until I raised a dispute… Decided to start my own line of 1/600 decals as that is what I use with my 1/2400 naval gaming.
