They might be old but those some of those Airfix kits still stand up today. They really set a high standard way back when.

You've done a cracking job.

Many thanks for the kind comments chaps. Yup, Airfix; no idea which incarnation. Not bad figures except for the strangely posed bren gunners!

I have a very large, old school warmth, spreading rapidly!

Nice work, they look great!

Those are awesome and it shows that well painted plastic looks as good as any metal.

Some unsavory type nicked my pic of my 1/72 Desert rats at our club's site and used them for cell phone covers they solicited at Amazon. (wonder why? The paintjob is nothing to celebrate and the pic is quite bad)

Did the same for my 25 pounders…

There are no depths so low to which man will not stoop.

So Cameronian paints figures by Ron Cameron. Keep it in the clan!

Ron created some stunning figures but I have a real soft spot for the 1st editions; not only were they my first Airfix figures but they were easier to convert as John Sanders regularly showed.

But by Jove, you've done a good job!

Cheers Jef, these must be the only Airfix figures I've done in a very long time.
