I saw some footage from the VE time frame where a group of very relieved Germans drove to the surrender point in a Krupp Protze that had been given what looked like a two- or three-color cammo paint scheme. I've not been able to find the video – or a still from it. I can certainly find pictures of models of the Kfz 69 and 70 painted in a late war scheme, but I prefer to go to the source, as it were. Does anyone have contemporary photos of Protze or Henschel HS33 trucks that managed to survive into late war? Black and white is ok. Thanks! Wyatt |

This is the only one I could find which is definitely late war, the colour scheme isn't terribly clear, though it looks to be 3 colour:
