Did most of the details. Still have interiors to do. Here are a couple of pics of the unfinished model. Still need to build wheels. But it's late so…bed time!

Sorry for the crummy pictures. My good camera needs batteries.

Even a bit soft focus, the pictures are good. I think it is turning out great. I like that little kubelwagen in the background as well.

That's terrific! Are you using a sort of water color effect to color the white card while leaving the black details visible?

Thanks Matthew!

Jeff, everything is computer generated using GIMP (Graphical Image Manipulation Program).

I make a skeleton with no background color. Many of the parts and general shapes are traced off of a blue print of the vehicle. Angled parts are formed by deduction using several views of the picture. You might need to use the top and side view to get the angled panels the right length for instance. Once I am satisfied, I draw in the details using the same program and then flood fill with the appropriate colors. The detail and coloring work took me about 2 hours.

Really looks the part!

TJ and ColCampbell, thanks for the kind words! I hope this will fill the niche of an oft overlooked, but important vehicle.

Looking good! You do know that the Horch is available from Ready to Roll

I did not see them WRGMR1. It's a pretty fair price too! However, I can make 1 vehicles for less than 20 cents. Thanks for pointing them out.
