Took my Vietnamese squad on a Grunt's Forward mission in the delta. Found here: Platoonforward.blogspot.com

Enjoy

Good stuff, as always, Joe. And how evil do you have to be to beat up on a monk!!?? I like the PBR, but that temple is really awesome.

Jack

Jack,

Thanks. Having an evil character has been different to say the least. Really like my $4 USD temple.

Cheers

Joe,
Loved the AAR. I even 'jumped back' and read-over a cpl 2009 AARs.
The $4 USD temple, "PetSmart"? Would have never thought of that, it looked great.

Ok, I was 'sure' these are 15mm, but the T-55 in the "..Candles" mission, I started wondering, "are they 15mm or 1/285 – 3mm?"

Im fascinated w your Hex terrain 'boards'. Were they bought or made from 'blue foam board'? Either way what size are the hexes? More info please.

You got me thinking; Use the various mini's I have, (Sci-Fi, WW2 naval, 28mm & 15mm land) and do more solo games.

The 'good old days'. 1/72 Airfix minis a cpl dice, a set up and go at it!

PTG,
Glad you enjoyed the stories. I love solo gaming; it is all about the story. No need to worry about rule changes or fairness; just fun!
I can see where you could mistake my stuff for 6mm but am working on my painting!
The terrain boards are from hexon. Very expensive but worth the price considering I use them every game. I believe they are 40mm across. Thus in 15mm I can use 1 to 1 ground scale.
Absolutely give it a go!

Joe
