I'm working on a range of ACW buildings for my PaperTerrain business. I'm going to have a wide range of generic buildings, but I also want to do some famous "landmark" buildings. I'm trying to think of some, but the only ones I'm coming up with are the Lutheran Seminary and the cemetery gatehouse at Gettysburg. There must be others. Any suggestions?

Just on subject of Gettysburg, here is a reference to the farms and buildings of Gettysburg. Several are mentioned in lists above, the Trostle farm being a notable omission.

I would like every building in Gettysburg in plastic, resin, or paper in 20mm / 1/72nd scale.

The other buildings mentioned are also good.

It's a little pre ACW, but the Harpers Ferry arsenal would be cool. Some generic houses and store fronts would be useful.

Agree with 79th PA Harpers Ferry and other similar small industrial buildings could be useful as campaign objectives or targets of various type raids.

As an aside , Scott, if you are designing new buildings is there a chance of seeing some 6mm Samurai types :-) ??

yes, please do more ACW buildings Mr. Paperterrain!

I've almost bought the farm set but I don't need all the fences and other stuff, just need some buildings.

What scale of paper buildings? One for each scale?

cabin4clw07 Feb 2017 1:44 p.m. PST

Hopefully, which buildings you would make, please remember those who game in 6mm.

Thanks for all the suggestions, gents!

Many of the houses you mention will be handled by the generic house buildings, but I'll definitely add some of these. Initially these will be in 10/15mm, but I'll be adding 20/25mm and 6mm scale, too. I hope to have the first of these available by next month.

Altar of Freedom has some nice 6mm paper buildings that are a free download. At that scale, a few of them can be a bit difficult to put together, but a few a pretty easy. They look good sitting on the table, and it's hard to beat free.

I'm finishing up the first four sets of houses (20 buildings in all) right now. They look pretty good! I'll post some pictures. Then on to the next 20 or so :)
