"Live from New York…it's Saturday Night Live…." Watch, not watch, that is the question! 1) it's essential satirical and comedic viewing. I watch compulsively. 2) I watch sporadically 3) I watch less than sporadically but more than none. 4) I have watched in the past but now I don't watch. 5) I never watched in the past and I don't watch now. 6) What is SNL ? 7) What is television ? 8) Zardoz 9) Not a wargamer. |

Frederick | 05 Feb 2017 6:56 p.m. PST |
Nope – only ever watched it every now and then and not for more than 20 years My days start very early and that pretty much precludes any TV show that starts at 11:30 at night |
daler240D | 05 Feb 2017 7:05 p.m. PST |
Started again since this election. This past episode is one of the best in years. |

I sometimes watch the odd sketch on YouTube or elsewhere. I never watch it "live" any more. I don't have TV at home (not even via digital antenna) and don't miss it since most everything I would care to see is on Netflix or YouTube anyway. BTW I used to watch the show regularly, but I never remember an intro with the anyone saying the "live" in "Saturday Night Live." |

4 I haven't gotten the humor since the early '90s. Since then it's just not funny IMHO. It maybe a generational thing. |

4. I liked to watch it in reruns in college in the late 90's. I would as soon eat a bucket of treble hooks as watch it now. |

vagamer63 | 05 Feb 2017 9:14 p.m. PST |
It lost all entertainment value back in the late 80's so I stopped watching it then!! |

No, not even in college when it first came on. Sat night was date night then. Now they are just too crass and political. |

For "early to beds" or "not in my countries" : there's this thing on the Internet called Youtube (you can search for it on Internet Explorer or other search engines if you use them) where you can catch up with shows like SNL that are on too late or are not broadcast in your home countries. That's how I view SNL. Youtube really does have a lot of good stuff – alongside a vast amount of rubbbish. |

Just another political platform for over rated actors. It used to be funny, not anymore. |

3, kind of. Most of the few times we watch past the opening are a mistake. My wife and I often watch on Hulu afterwards so we don't have to be up late. Back when Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo were on… but now, get these kids off my lawn. |
WaltOHara | 06 Feb 2017 1:40 p.m. PST |
I usually watch the highlights the next day. It's kind of tedious to watch beyond the obligatory funny cold opening sketch. |
Flashman14 | 06 Feb 2017 2:13 p.m. PST |
10. SNL is for people who hate comedy. There's no hour of television so devoid of humor. Singularly unfunny. |
