Do you make use of the Sneaker troop type in your armies?

It depends on how far I need to walk to get to the game.

Seriously, though, I play HotT with themed armies. If the theme warrants Sneakers, I use them.

I have never used one myself, even though I have two armies that have them – got the elements, just always use alternatives. And I have only very rarely seen anybody else use one either. Unfortunately, for a number of reasons sneakers are seriously poor value for their Army Point cost.

I have bases of them but never used them in a game. used Lurkers once in a while.

-Deleted Scene from the Counsel of Elrond-

Gandalf: And then, the Ring Bearer will sneak past the Orcs, Ringwraiths, and the Eye of Sauron, delivering the One Ring to Mount Doom, the place where it was wrought, the one place where it can be destroyed!

Boromir: One does not simply walk a Sneaker into Mordor! They cost THREE points!!! And the battle always ends before they reach Mount Doom! It is folly.

Gandalf: Right then, plan B. This one involves giant eagles…

I have used them a couple of times with my Halfling Army – it worked once. Most of the time I think they are just not worth the points.

They seem overpriced for their rather meager abilities.
