While I know that there is a growing number of 28mm SF buildings as well as a few 15mm files on Thingiverse, I was wondering if anyone had files (or was working on them) for small scale 10-6mm science fiction buildings?

I don't know if this would be usefull for you, but I have seen that Brigade Models has some sci-fi buildings in 6, 10 and 15 mm.

SHQ have what was Mayhem Miniatures and The Drum's SF line – many of which feature in the Dirtside2 rulebook and others – link here .

Old Crow are, despite rumors, operating though at a reduced level. Check the website, and drop him an email; If he's not busy supplying arms to the Rebels, he's more than happy to sell you stuff :)

JR Miniatures still have their stackables towers – link – but the other buildings are sadly OOP. Their designer is now workign at Novus Design Studios, and they do have some nice stuff as well – link

And finally on my list, the old Microtac range from GZG and some new items are available at Daemonscape in the UK – link

Hope that's helpful :)

Oh, wait – OP is looking for 3D printer files…..

I don't know anything about 3D printing, but with a computer model wouldn't it be just a matter of scaling down a model for 28mm (1/56) to about 19% of the original to get one for 6mm (1/300)?

Taskforce58, ideally yes, but according to Tony at Brigade Models UK, there's often a lot involve din rescaling parts to work in smaller or larger scales. For simple "block" structures it's pretty easy, but to quote the man – "Now there seems to be a commonly held misconception that because a digital version of a model exists in one scale, it can be magically resized to another scale with a single keystroke, new 3D masters can then be printed and away you go to the casters. Not so."

Many things scale fine.

The main issue is when a thin part comes up like a railing, it becomes so small that it disappears.

Or it try to print it and leaves a stringy mess.

I have printed many buildings for 6mm and most have worked quite well.
