Several years ago the Battlefront people brought out several hills in their Battlefield in a Box line. They were available at several local stores, but I didn't get around to buying them, and they went away. Now, suddenly, they're back! Are these something that is only available from time to time, with Battlefront making up a batch every few years? Perhaps my local stores just didn't bother ordering any in? It seems odd that after a long dry spell, two stores both had a full stock of them at the end of January.

They seem to do their production of everything in waves, instead of keeping everything in stock, all the time.

I recall the same thing happened a couple of decades ago, when they came out with West Wall D-Day Forts, and landing craft.

That tallies with what my FLGS said to me: if you want them, get them while they are back now, cos who knows how long it will be before they make them again.

So per Mako11, very much a wave type thing it seems.

If you see their terrain and think you might want it, buy it now. Their forests have been OOP for several years (at least 5 years IIRC).

Forests also went from $25 USD/box to $42 USD/box for the same product.

Yeah, the Desert Forts were originally a one-time production run, and after much pestering and prodding BF made another run of them.

OK, I thought that this might be a "buy it now" sort of item, but I wanted to check. Many thanks!
