Hi guys

These still have a bit of work to be done, gauntlets, bow and quiver, lance and pennant, and a plume on the horses head, the pics are blown up double size, so the imperfections stand out, they are not that bad in person.
How do the shields look? they are only tacked on so can be changed, do they look Elven enough? also looking at adding some detail to the leaders helm, maybe some dragon wings? all comments welcome.

Coming along very nicely. You can always do some small and simple things to make soldiers look more "elfy". Wings or other adornments on the helmets, not just crests. The heater shields they carry do not look very elven. Irregular shaped artistic shaped shields always look elven. Of course, the heater could work if there are some fancy runes and elven art on them.

Keep up the good work and keep the pictures coming!

Personally I think the shields should be tall and thin (like Elves)and maybe a be more curved rather than straight lines.

Yeah, was going to go with tall thin shields for the infantry and these shorter shields for the cav, but thinking taller ones may look better.

You could go with smaller but thin shields too. Here is a quick google search for some ideas. link

the later Norman kite shields would also look good IMHO.
