Very much in the style of the other Custodes vehicles. Looks good. By and by I'll have to get one. My to-buy list from Forgeworld is up to about 500 quid at this point. Hopefully I'll get some free shipping on that.

Like the other ones with a different paint scheme it would work really well for other sci-fi games like Infinity too. I will probably do mine with more red, although I'm not sure if that might not make it look too much like the Thousand Sons it will be fighting against.

Lovely but £180.00 GBP for a squad and transport is pushing even my price elasticity. Need to see the rules first and finish Space Wolves anyway

To be fair that is two squads.

If you are interested in the rest of the stuff, like the marines and sisters, the BoP set is a much cheaper way to get Custodes.

I actually really like it design-wise (not finish-wise?), but it's far too small for an APC at its scale.

Squad is up to 9 (three basic plus up to six more) in the experimental rules. Presumably with the option in the final army list for some horrendous character to round it off to the ten.

I've already got enough plastics for the army. The vehicles are going to be the pricey bit.

That looks pretty good (maybe even too big) relative to the Custodian. The Custodian is also a pretty big figure relative to ordinary marines.

Not knowing the background, but it smacks of Tau to me. Perhaps their grav tanks are selling more than Rhinos?

They're humanity's most elite troops when the Imperium is at the highest point. They have high tech equipment which is expensive and difficult to produce in 30k and legendary in 40k.

Before the Heresy the Imperium had grav bikes and all sorts of weird stuff which has been lost. The grav stuff is to emphasise how elite they are and the technology humanity has more or less lost.

Liking the design, and nice to see something that's not over skullzed. But too expensive by half for me.

Thanks for the info.

But it still looks devilfishy at the front. Also if Tau were selling well and they wanted some marine stuff to emulate the sales ('cause, as everyone knows marine stuff doesn't sell well…) then they would of course put in new background to cover it and make the new minis.

Also, I guess, there is only so many things you can stick on a Rhino.
