I am reading the Snook/Perry Minis book on the Sudan. Before now I had assumed that the famous Camel Corps desert column was just the Camel Corps by itself and all mounted on camels. As I understand it from the book the Sussex Regt were also part of this column. Were they mounted on camels or did they march on foot? I'm curious about how best to show them in my army. Just ordinary infantry or camel riders. I have also discovered there was cavalry hussars in the column so am learning lots from this book. |
