Having got my second battalion of Swedish Foot Guards back from the basing department below is a snap of these chaps.

More and a quick write up on the blog.http://gapagnw.blogspot.co.uk/

Hi Roger, wonderful job as usual; I am also fascinated by how fast you're painting and getting unit after unit ready…Looks like these are Ebor Swedes ?
Congratulation and thanks for posting , your work is a great source of inspiration for me!
Cheers

Federico

The header's "Til Flot"
sounds like there is navy involved (Swed: flottan = navy)

Fot (no L) = foot :)

*nitpicking off*
Probably was a typo, right?

Roger I agree with SAMURAIFREDDY….. Im curious to know if you sleep regularly or you just paint…. in any case nice Ebor figures painted and based at high level.

Thanks very much gents, I get a lot of help really. I used to get much more don't but cant paint as much now due to a stomach injury. I have a friend who paints professionally who does the simple base coat for me as a favour. so with these he would have given the coat a dark blue and the yellow bits an orange layer. This takes some of the time out. I am then doing mainly hshading and detail. He does this for my Saxons and swedes but none of the others. I also have a painting department in the shape of my daughter so that saves lots of time too. Finally the uniforms are fairly simple and the Ebor Swedes suit my style of painting.

All that said I didn't expect to get so much complete.

Lonkka1Actual you are right typo on my part its the Livrgardet till fots, ie. on foot. Apologies. I should have just played it safe and called them the life guard or foot guard. Lesson learned.

I shall let the basing department know you approve, I will be sure not to give too much praise however to ensure prices do not increase! She already etas me out of house and home.

On reading the topic heading, I immediately expected to see a tall blonde woman in a blue-and-yellow bathing suit!

Imagine your disappointment when there are just some lead soldiers. Sorry.

@RogerC: Yes, I should have noticed that Tango wasn't the poster.
