I'm working on the purchase order for a fun little project. I'm curious whether or not they were wearing the blue uniform and lances you sometimes see them in, or whether they would have been irregular in dress and equipment. Thanks! |

As I recall the Cossacks at the Battle of the Katzbach were commanded by Karpov Karpov primarily commanded Don Cossacks so I think the blue uniform and lances would be most probably what they wore That being said, they are Cossacks so you have a lot of leeway in how they are dressed |

Hmm… : / That might be tricky. I'm working on a project where I'm doing both sides at the Katzbach for under $100 USD… basing included! It's 3mm though, so I can probably make it happen…I'll just use some leftover bearskin cav, lancers and chassuers, then paint the uniforms blue and red. Should work a trick! |

I don't know if they were uniformed but they were definitely uninformed. |
