I recently played The Men Who Would Be Kings (Osprey) and really enjoyed it.

All of my Colonials are 25mm figures by Ral Partha with a smattering of 25mm Minifigs.

What other companies make 25mm ACW and Crimean War figures that are compatible in size with Ral Partha's 25s? It would be fun to do some "what-if" British vs. USA battles.

I could use the newer 28s but the size difference is very noticeable.

TIA.

Rafm makes smaller 25s for the ACW. I have a few dozen painted infantry that I will sell cheap if you are interested. Actually, I need to check to see if they are Union, Reb, or both. Send me an email if you have any interest.

Old Glory and Sash & Saber ought to fit in well with the RAFM stuff, size-wise anyway,

Historifigs, but they are in the special order category, so might take some time for delivery.

TVAG is bringing back all the classic "Lyzard's Grin/Houston Collection" 25mm Colonials as fast as we can pay to spin the molds.

I had forgotten about Sash and Saber. Between them and RAFM I shouldn't have any trouble fielding 25mm ACW.

Now if I could just find some British 25mm figures (suitable for Crimean or Maori wars).

I think Historifigs has the old Scruby 25mm Crimean figures but I know those molds are very old.

Old Glory's figures are called 25mm but they fit in well with my 28s.

Does anyone have some of the Old Glory 25s and if so, how do they compare in size with the Ral Partha 25s?

OG is noticeably larger than RP and Rafm in my eyes.

… and to my tape measure.

Thanks for confirming that.

I think a mix of Federal and some Confederate figures would work well for Robert's project. :)

Old Glory will not work with Ral Partha.

I'm not even all that happy with RAFM size wise. Good for a random officer or two, however, rank and file seem to tall and bulky next to the Brits.
