I recently finished reading "Rorke's Drift: A New Perspective," by Neil Thornton. It was very good and I recommend it if, like me, you're fascinated with the Anglo-Zulu War and that battle in particular. It contains a very detailed account of the fight for the hospital with some excellent explanatory illustrations. I think Mr. Thornton's description of the battle is one of the best I've read. |

Thanks. Always interested. It was available on Amazon and arrives on my doorstep on Saturday. |

Is it as good as Colonel Snook's? I got his Isandlwana book last month and it is the best on the battle written. |
