Dennis Showalter's Hitler's Panzers covers that era quite well then sort of bogs down in Russia, but is still a good read. |

Another vote for "To Lose a Battle: France 1940'. I've never really found anything that I felt adequately covered the Polish campaign though. |

Blitzkireg by Alexander Lloyd is a good general work on the French campaign. Hitler's Pre-emptive War is good on Norway. Not sure about Poland… TomT
