These are the wagons that have taken over a year to finally get completed. The bullocks are by Empress as are the wagons pulled by two bullocks. The mules are from Askari and the other wagons maybe from Westfalia. The drivers are assorted from Foundry and Empress.

They look great!

Thanks for the comments. The mules were probably more British Army than Afghan civilian use but they fit the smaller two wheeled wagons better. These just took a lot of time but it was an on again off again project.

They do look good. I wonder if the fairly new 4 wheeled wagon by the Perry's might be usable for this period?

Hafen von S. – I am thinking that due to the poor roads and rough terrain that the two wheeled carts might have functioned better than the four wheeled. Most, if not all, pictures I have seen of the native transport was two wheeled.

Nice!

The mules might have Royal Artillery or Royal Army Service Corps brands even though they appear to be under new ownership.

Rhingyll--valid point, although I was also thinking of possible use by Imperial forces. Anyone know if they would be out of place?

One BTW--the Amatola Mountains could present some fairly rough terrain, too!
