Got it from PSC – a lovely building and my first experience of pre-cut MDF. I recommend it (though the instructions are not quite perfect there's no problem). I also made progress with a Normandy scenario I am writing for SOTCW.

Many Sarissa building have a YouTube video showing how to make them – YouTube link YouTube link for the chateau, for instance.

I found no need for a video as it was all pretty straight-forward. I put plastic tube along the roof edges to improve the appearance and painted the flat roof and these tubes gunmetal so as to look like lead.

What a coincidence, I am sitting down later this afternoon to put this piece together (also my first MDF building experience). Did you use PVA wood glue?

I used Evostick mostly, with superglue in a few places. It glued very well and quickly: I suspect PVA would be fine but take longer to cure. There were a few places where the slots needed filling around the side: I used Vallejo plastic putty, with Milliput on the joins of the additional plastic tube to round the ends off to look like worked lead roofing sheet.

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.

The material does suck up paint. I used Miniature Paints and Vallejo (both acrylic), with rather old Humbrol Acrylic gun metal.
