The other day, I picked up a new Matchbox truck, which is a mobile X-Ray scanner, named the "XCanner", looks perfect for use at a Spaceport, Airport, or SeaPort, for your ultramodern through Sci-Fi Periods.

It's a large white truck, with a yellow, L-shaped bar, to represent the scanner, and it says X-Ray on the side.

Another nice addition to any tabletop for only 99 cents.

Also, at the local pet store (Petsmart, I think), they had hollow "rocks", which are smooth and gray, like river rocks, which look like they could be used for a primitive alien species' home. There's a roundish/ovalish hole in the side, and bottom, so you can have two different looks for the smaller ones, and there are some larger ones too, for use with larger scale minis, if you need that.

About $2.50 USD for the smallest ones, and quickly escalating in price for the larger ones.

Also priced plastic plants for aquariums, and the cost for those was off the charts. Some were as much as $20 USD, and many/most were $9 USD or more.

Crazy, for 25 cents worth of plastic.

Need to look again at Walmart, and other discount stores, I suspect.

Yeah, if you want plants and not expecially the weird colored ones, craft stores do you better.

Still expensive for the plastic, but you can get a 'garland' or similar that'll pop apart to cover most of a table for a lot less. Definitely worth looking for sale pricing.

Hobby Lobby, for instance, is pretty whack until you know that they are pretty much half off every other week.

I was going to take a bunch of large pieces, split and mix and match, to sell as DIY terrain, but a bag of green plastic fronds just has no sex appeal.

However, if you can put your aquarium sellers on a regular circuit, even their stuff gets reduced on occasion.

Apparently, scenery goes through styles I don't want to think about. Even those resin pieces…

Edit: Don't think as much of Xcanner as some I've seen. However, I've also not seen it in the hands of a proper painter. Which I ain't.

Nice find on the x-ray truck, I need to find a couple and add them to my space port support vehicles that I already have.

It looks better than the pic link.

The cab seems about the right size for a 15mm figure, too, unlike some trucks.
