I would like to find out if the St. Louis historical miniatures club Big Muddy or any other historical club exists. Now that I am retired I have time to participate.Thank you.

There is a Facebook page for Big Muddy and a Yahoo Group. Mbig Muddy's website for conventions is link

If you are interested there are additionally a couple groups that play wargames at local game stores. One is in St. Louis at Game Nite and another in Fairview Heights IL, at Fantasy Shop.

Congrats on the retirement!

I live in Western KY (about 1 1/2 hour drive) and have wondered about the historical gaming scene in St. Louis as well. If you don't mind let us know what you find!

Thanks,
Dan

I thought there was an active group but I tried a few emails as I had an introductory wargame design I was doing for a museum that I was looking for local playtesters. Could find any in the area but found an enthused group in the UK. Maybe they were miniature only though. Good luck on the retirement.

Stever,

I found them. They are active at Game Nite hobby shop in south St. Louis County, Millouri and at the Fantasy Shop in O'Fallon, Illinois. They have a Yahoo group, also. They have a Web site, also, regarding Command CON 2016. I hope that helps.
