if they were full of scenarios, that kind people had done and posted then keep it, but I find a vast majority to be AAR only. |

I would like to think eventually we will get to publish scenarios that are of interset. I have just posted one. |

I am not even sure I know what a scenario actually is. I stress my interests are purely Napoleonic, with occasional venture into WWII or ACW, and never involve throwing dice. One of the problems on this site is that everyone knows that there are some fora that are much "quieter" than others. So, if you want to get noticed with any new topic, you go to "Discussion" every time. It could be a new figure of a stark naked female chasseur a cheval (actually not sure how she would be distinguished as such) in 28mm, but she would not go into Products…but instead Discussion. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Smaller fora attract fewer postings, so they attract fewer readers, there is less feedback….etc etc. |

What I have come up with is Napoleonic era Prussian III Corp and British/ Hanoverarian part of Wallmoden's force has to travel the length of the board, at first from their flank is swarms of Cossacks ( 14 regt) with a battery and half to slow this, following up the Cossacks are 2 Russian inf corp II and III. To win the Prussians must advance off the end with 2 of 5 Brigades. |

Keep the scenario boards. Today I was looking for a WW1 Mesopotamia scenario and easily found it, even though the author had posted it in January 2016. I shudder to think how hard a time I would have had finding something I didn't even know existed if there were not a dedicated WW1 scenario board. Who cares if the information is nearly four years old? It's new to me. Thanks, Yarkshire gamer! I plan to adapt your scenario! |
