I ordered a POD copy of Sages & Specialists, a 2e AD&D splatbook, OOP since the late 90's, from RPGNow.com. The PDF-only version was $6.99 USD, while the POD/standard heavyweight paper, was only $9.99 USD. I took the chance, as I truly prefer a physical book to a PDF. Remember, this is for a brand new book, not used, not damaged… The quality of the printing, and the softcover binding, was better than what I expected! The print, and graphics, were obviously a digital re-make, as opposed to a scan. The paper is decent quality; the text looked great, clear, no blemishes, nothing; the graphics appeared much like graphic novels I've looked at -- not the quality of the original product from TSR, but very good, nonetheless! They are slowly offering up old 0e/1e/2e titles on POD. The quality is very good, as is the price! A POD copy of the reprinted 1e PHB/DMG/MM books, in hardcover, is only $24.99 USD… If you can find a copy from WotC, with the bookmark ribbon, and the gilded pages, you will need to fork over $30 USD+ (Amazon link)… Looking forward to when they offer the 2e Reprints in POD, as the price of $24.99 USD is very affordable. Cheers! |

Several sites sell them, but they are all inter-related: RPGNow.com, was my source; a better source for TSR-specific titles, would be DM's Guild. Cheers! |
