Oscar Barela of the Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) Club located in Texas has added to his Russian Bolt Action army.
Oscar was the overall winner of the Texas Bolt Action Barbarossa tournament on 21 January 2017 at Knight Watch Games in San Antonio Texas.
By Oscar Barela So our Barbarossa Tourney is coming up in January and thanks to UncleBobGoesToTexas for getting me an OT-26 for Christmas!!!!
It inspired me to give my Soviets some love!!! So her a is my OT-26 a squad of NKVD and a pair of M42 45mm AT guns.
Had an absolute BLAST painting the contrasting colors of the NKVD let me know what you think!!!
Still cranking out them Soviets!!! Added another BA-10 pair of AT Rifle teams and a Zis-3 gun. Used a different basing method too Let me know what you think!!!

Must get on with some more of my Russians. I have the mortar team, looks great painted. I`ve mounted my anti-tank team on separate bases, and trimmed one `pill' base, and extended it with another to support the anti-tank rifle. Looked a bit fragile floating in mid air. |

@torokchar, Your Russian force and support looks beautiful. You asked about your bases, I would say they look a bit awkward…looks like one plastic disc on top of a fender washer??? Why don't you skip the plastic base and just use the fender washer. The fender washer looks a bit bigger than the top base…just MTC. Good gaming! P. |
