"Orders astray - when fate is against you" Topic

Is it just me? I am like 0-5 on smooth transactions lately, and these with folks that many of us have ordered from many times. I feel like I have to look to the left and look to the right before I hit the submit order button. Almost makes me want to hold my cash a little closer for a while.

I'd take it personally.

Who do you feel like ordering from next? Tell us so we can avoid your bad luck 8-)

Save one, they have come through eventually. In some cases it has been missing or incomplete components of the order, in others greatly protracted delivery… eh… not like I have nothing else to build or paint. I am patient, but sometimes one notices patterns…..

Of the five orders I have made from the UK to the US since late November, none have shown up yet. The oldest order I got refunded, but I still have 2 orders at 50+ days, 1 at 44 days, and one at 25 days. Meanwhile I have gotten orders from Hong Kong (6 days), Canada (8 days), and Russia (13 days).

I always try to be patient over the holidays, but this is discouraging.

There's plenty I don't like about the UK, but our postal service is superb and incredibly cheap for the quality of the service, even if (like me) you live in the outer nowhere islands.

On the really astray one I was not anticipating it being over the holidays. Ordered 11/28. Two month anniversary tomorrow.

So far I have gotten 1 "We were not anticipating so many orders so we are behind", 3 "let me checks", and one "it went out a long time ago. We'll send another today." That was a week ago.

Ordered from Germany November 25. Arrived here (USA) January 24. Looks as if it went to the former USSR before the USA first.
