Our X-Wing models are 3D, they have fight stands, so why not the junk?

It's a good question and the answer is quite simple, There is no money in X Wing space junk. Actually I'm happy with that because it leaves room for a bit of bodging, and being the kind of man that leaves junk wherever he goes, I've made more junk to add to the cosmos.

Simple to make rubbish, what we're all made of.

Loved the space junk and the ship. I seem to remember looking at the Star Wars exhibit at the Air space museum years ago (from the first round of movies), that Lucas intentionally used black/white/grey/brown for all of the characters and colors except for the red of the Emperor's guard. There was a reason for them being in red (can't remember these days), but the universe was definitely a simple color palate. Thanks

Great idea, and very nice follow through!

Same reason Age of Sail ships had red interiors, e.g. to distract from/cover up all the blood during battle?

I do love those Emperor's Guard uniforms and armor. They look sharp.

A pity they're as bad at close combat as the stormtroopers are with their blasters.

I'm doing the same thing but yours is an inspiration to get me to finish
