The Chieftain image was meant to show off the painting skills of their staff painter. Apparently there is also a contest to give away a painted set of five of the T-55s painted by that painter as part of the pre-release.

Is it useful for yom kippur's war?

I believe this set can be built in several configurations including the t55A which would have been around n Egyptian & Syrian armies during the Yom Kipur war.
