Does anyone make Legere in the pre 1812 uniform with pointed cuffs? |

Not that I can tell. It's very frustrating. |

pre 1813 – most likley no pointed cuffs – so not frustration whatsoever. |

But also pointed lapels and often shortened tails, so plenty of frustration. Also, I've seen plenty of instances of pointed cuffs before 1812. |

I am under the impression that pointed cuffs were not that trendy – at least till 1809 – officers cuff slashes even with 4 buttons. |

Before 1812 there was a mix of uniform styles for the leger. Bardin was supposed to tidy this all up. Before 1812 the majority of lager had buttoned cuffs and short tails. However, some had long tails, some had pointed cuffs and some had blue waistcoats whilst others had white. In short, you would have to research the individual regiment to see what it wore. To create leger pre 1812 with pointed cuffs, I would simple buy a suitable figure, trim off the cuff and paint on the pointed version. If you are into some conversion work, take the Perry pre-1812 ligne carve the cuff and trim the tail to the appropriate length. Carabiniers with bearskins can come from the Garde Chasseurs a Pied. It does not take long. Alternatively take the post 1812 leger and paint on the waistcoat. |

I know the old 25 mm minifigs had a single figure light inf adv. in pointed cuffs. For true 28mm, maybe look at young guard figures, like the extensive young guard rage of Front Rank, maybe there are some figures there that might suit you and can be painted up as the légère unit you want. |

The Thing I'm Whining About is that the lapels of the Legere coat are cut differently. See here: link The uniform on the top left is legere, that on the top right is Ligne. |
