How common were plates on British and Loyalist cartridge boxes, especially late in the war? The figures I've been painting appear to have plateless cartridge boxes so that is how I painted them. Now that I am contemplating upgrading those figures to permanent bases I wonder if I should try to add them. |

Cartridge box plates were fairly common, but we only know units who wore them based on the badges found. Some units had them, some didn't and some we just don't know about. There are example of extant badges in several of Troiani's books. |

He always complains about how much he has to carry. Next year we are going with full backpacks and blankets, extra pair of shoes, etc. |
