Hi, thought i would share my first ever foray into 15mm miniatures. Three sections of spearmen for my Crusader army. Hope you like it. Any feedback is welcome!

Looking good! What rules being used?

Zeropainting23 Jan 2017 8:04 a.m. PST

Thanks guys.

I have hardly played any ancient rulesets so i've based them for FoG/DBM. People at my club play some ADLG, to the strongest and Sword & Spear, so im guessing i'll start with those.

OUTSTANDING !!! I do not understand why people play with 25/28mm figures when this can be achieved with 15/18mm figs.
Multiple benefits -- 15/18mm figures are as good as the larger casting, easier on the pocketbook, not so heavy to carry around, makes any table just that much bigger so more actual maneuver room, can have actual towns and fortifications on table, army and units actually look like an army and units, etc, etc.

Thanks!

I wasn't shure about 15/18mm before i took the plunge and painted some myself. I'd seen som wonderful looking armies but for some reason thought i would be unable to paint something decent at this scale. Now i'm sold :)

I still have lots of unpainted miniatures left for the Crusader army, but i'm already planning my next venture into 15mm.

I find the little guys easy to paint.

Managed to paint the rest of the spearmen for the army. All that is left on them are some touch ups on the bases and the flag.
