This was the first week of classes so my time in the hobby room was limited. (I'm in charge of our online courses so getting the students up and running takes a lot of my time) Mostly a bit of piddling. I managed to decal some 1/285 WWI Italian and Russian aircraft do some assembly of some 1/144th Brits and Germans. (thanks Joe of d88) Finally spent the most time starting to rebase by Crusade era Arabs. They are on Renaissance Ink bases which tower over everything else I use (Litko) and are no longer available as far as I can tell. So a soak in water for 48 hours, pop them off and clean them up and then base and texture. I managed to get around 40 done this week.

I finished my rebasing of my old Old Glory Arabs, moving them from Renaissance Ink bases to more common 3mm MDF. Next will be a sprucing up of the shieds with LBMS transfers and banners. In the meantime I can start on the infantry and the rest! of the cavalry.

The troops of the Amir Yusef bin Shah na-ci
Bedouin on the left, Turks on the right. Halqah cavalry across the front with the Amir's mamluks/ghulams in the middle.

Litko has a new, taller base size that might have been compatible.
