Many thanks to Joe Shaffer who served as President the past 5 years.

LSHM is a Texas based club that promotes historical gaming around Texas and beyond. We hold a major gaming convention (MillenniumCon) in November. Join us if you are here in Texas!

I am very interested to know what the LSHM is going to do as a group in Austin, to maintain its presence as an organization apart from the annual convention in Round Rock, now that there is no central, dependable gathering place in the absence of the Great Hall Games store. It seems that the local historical miniatures gamers as a group are still floundering around fragmented and homeless.

Piper909 – some of the group has moved over to Dragon's Lair Austin. The store ownership is very receptive to historical gamers and promoting historical games. Casey Pittman and Pete Atack are starting to run games (Bolt Action, SAGA, Hail Caesar). There is also a group starting to play Over the Hills Napoleonic Rules (Rob Smith, Dave Bennett and Francisco Erize).
