A review of Fantasy Flight Games Fury of Dracula is now up on my blod along with a comparison of and link to my review of 2nd edition.

I find the latest version superior, many of my issues with 2nd edition have been fixed – combat and train travel for instance is now less random. There are also some really good additional tweaks such as dividing the map into regions that along with Mina Harkers special power speeds the game up and makes it a bit harder to play as Dracula.

Check my blog for the review of the third edition along with a link to the second edition:

Nice review – contrast between all three editions is great. I've got a 1st edition that I haven't played in years because the combat made my head hurt.

Sounds like it might be time to re-visit the game.

Ive got this edition and it's beautiful…

1: The minis need to be painted to look better.

2: There are so many cards and tokens, etc…that you literally need either a large conference table or a side table to hold them all…
