Episode 192 of the Meeples & Miniatures Podcast has just been published.

In this show, hosts Neil Shuck and Mike Whitaker talk to games designer Jim Bambra about his extensive work in the hobby. We also take an in-depth look at his latest set of WWII rules – Combat HQ

You can download the show from the Meeples & Miniatures website

It's also available from iTunes or your preferred Podcast App.

We hope you enjoy the show

Last Saturday, the Gentlemen Wargamers held an ATF-style Napoleonic game, as we traditionally do in January to wish a temporary and seasonal farewell to a companion who finds himself unable to find time for hobby pursuits during tax season due to professional obligations. Hopefully, this game will hold him over until later this Spring when he can rejoin us again.

For this game, as with our last, we stayed with the 1813 campaign in Germany, playing out a hypothetical action at Goldberg during the retreat of Yorck's 1st Corps. There's an album of photos on my Flickr page; just scroll down the photos if you enjoy that sort of thing, or click through them for descriptive captions.

The figures are mainly AIM and Old Glory 10mm, the rules were Napoleonic Command, 2nd Edition.

what the…?

how did my blog post get someone elses content?

It's the TMP bug. Buggy software rules the world and it plays with us at its whim. Unfortunately, if you're going to post here you just have to get used to it.

It also seems to have dropped the link I put in my post, which I will take the opportunity to correct here:

On the bright side, visitors to this involuntarily mixed thread get to enjoy both my pictures and your new episode. Not all bad, right? Although it is annoying that my Napoleonic AAR now appears on the WWII Rules Board, which I obviously never intended. You may want to repost your announcement on the Podcasts of War Board to make sure it reaches the widest possible audience.

Now I'm off to download Episode 192.

Cheers.
