Howdy all,
I was excited to find the Goblin Factory with nice, affordable 28mm goblins and goblin wolf riders, and placed an order.

However, they are actually no longer in business despite the fact that the website and shopping cart still function. It has taken me 2 months to get my money back from PayPal.

Yeah. They could have had lots and lots of my money for a Battle of Five Armies game. Wonderful models. Sad to see they are no longer in production.

I bought a selection of figures years ago at Cold wars. The owner had just got back from deployment. Nice guy. His web master had locked him out of the site and, disappeared…I think. So the site still runs as a derelict.

I loved his stuff too – especially the goblins, of which I bought a lot. Pics of the command here: link

He also no longer makes decal sets for 1/200 scale aircraft models. Luckily Kevin Hammond is now producing beautiful decal sets to fill the void.

I believe that they were sculpted by Roderick Campbell. Highlander Studios once had a collection of "Oriental" Goblins and even called them "Goblin Factory." However, the Highlander Studios website seems to be derelict as well.

I'm sad to hear this. I was getting ready to order some from them. They fit my image of goblins nicely. None of the wimpish impish look or comical jawboned protuberant teeth.

Yep, it was a real bummer to find out they were out of business.

Funny -- that wasn't the link I posted…must be some TMP thing.

I sculpted most of the "Goblin Factory" range for Don (including those pictured above – great paint job by the way) but he has been caught up in that real world that prohibits playing with figures! I have opened a dialogue with Don to see if we can come to an arrangement where the "Goblin Factory" range can be sold through "Slave 2 Gaming". Early days yet but any positive outcome will be posted here.

Cheers

Mike

Thanks Mike! Love the figures. Any avenue that makes them available again is welcome. (Hopefully with a U.S. Distributor, self interest and all.)

People are always asking why I don't use a proper webstore. These sorts of issues are one reason I've avoided it.

Thanks Mike – gorgeous miniatures – easily my favorite goblin range.
