Most of these are of warrior saints, but, the Deposition scene shows ordinary soldiers. Do the helmets have nasals even though they are flesh coloured?

The nasals are the same colour as the ball-finial on the top of the helmet (at least, looking at the helmet of the soldier at far right). I would see them as brass or copper fittings.

I agree with GurKhan, could be copper or bronze. But they could also represent leather or hide covered nasals?

The most interesting aspect for me are the soldier's padded coats--which correlates with later soft armour used in that area of the globe.
